Yes, indeed. An attrition strategy also involves wearing down the enemy sufficiently to achieve a breakthrough, at least locally. Cf UKR push at Svatove, RU pushes at Bakhmout and Donetsk. And we have the feeling that it will crack incessantly, here or there.
