During Russia's full-scale invasion, the Russian Orthodox Church has also illegally annexed two dioceses of its autonomous Ukrainian branch – the Crimean diocese and the Rovenki diocese in Luhansk Oblast – in parallel with Russia's illegal annexation of Ukrainian regions.
