Also, the Russian Air Force is able to harass the cities and villages closed to the border. There is now good air defense in Kyiv and some other areas, but in the East from Kharkiv to Dnipro to Sumy, Russians can fly and bomb Ukrainian towns. It is just too close to Russia. 8/
