Moscow City Court has sentenced former FSB officer and warlord Igor "Strelkov" Girkin to 4 years in prison for "calls for extremism," based on his public criticism of the Kremlin's invasion of Ukraine. A Dutch court had previously found him guilty in absentia of murder in the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17.
