Ten years ago, on 18 March 2014, Serhiy Kokurin, a Ukrainian soldier from the 13th Photogrammetric Center, became the first military casualty of Russian aggression against Ukraine when he was killed by Russians during their attempt to seize a Ukrainian base in Simferopol, Crimea.
