Crimean intellectuals’ genocide remembered

Today we remember a generation of brilliant Crimean Tatar writers, artists, and intellectuals massacred by Russian colonial authorities in the 1930s. Because no one spoke out, the Russians continued by genociding the entire indigenous nation through deportation in 1944.
