On August 18, the Russians attacked Ukraine with ballistic, cruise, and guided missiles, as well as Shahed-type attack drones. Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down 13 of the 16 air targets, said Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of the Ukrainian Air Force.
