Belarus' activist of independent trade union, 69-year-old political prisoner Vatslau Areshka is serving an 8-year sentence. Behind bars, he suffers from retinal detachment, cataracts, and glaucoma. To correspond with his family, Vatslau has to ask inmates to write his letters.
