1,000 days of avoidable tragedy. 1,000 days of lost time. 1,000 days of sacrifice and heroism from Ukraine’s finest. 1,000 days of defiance against 1,000 days of terror. 1,000 days too many. And if we persist with our current failed strategy, the next 1,000 days could be even worse.
