EU purchased €21.9bn Russian fossil fuels, gave €18.7bn to Ukraine

The Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (Crea) estimates that in 2024, the European Union purchased €21.9bn worth of fossil fuels from Russia. At the same time, data from @kielinstitute show that Europe allocated less – €18.7bn – to support Kyiv, reports the Guardian.
