UK to release £2.3bn from Chelsea FC sale for Ukraine aid

UK Foreign Secretary David Lemmy has pledged to unfreeze £2.3bn from the sale of Chelsea FC and use it to help Ukraine, FT reports. The football club was previously owned by Russian oligarch Abramovich, who was sanctioned by the UK in March 2022.
