I toured the border in Sumy recently; Ukrainian combat engineers have been very, very busy. Miles and miles of minefields, barbed wire, 'dragons teeth' anti-tank barriers and well constructed, mutually supporting bunkers/trench lines. Any Russian offensive here will struggle.
