A 30-day ceasefire: Ukraine has agreed, Russia is dragging its feet. Putin is demonstratively buying time, wrapping his “agreement to a ceasefire” in conditions and reasons that are clearly impossible to fulfill. The Kremlin believes it currently has the initiative.
