In the Russian city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, in the Khabarovsk Krai, local authorities displayed captured American equipment from Ukraine. A 4-year-old child approached an M113 armored personnel carrier, touched its hatch, which then opened, struck him on the head, and killed him.
