Ukraine’s 2022 talks: a futile Plan B

Ukraine entered negotiations in 2022 as a contingency plan in case the frontline situation deteriorated. However, they did not need to sign anything, as they succeeded in pushing Russia out of Kyiv—and later that year, from the Kharkiv region and the city of Kherson.
