2/7 Putin and Russian officials swore they wouldn’t invade Ukraine. Then they did. Putin claimed it was to stop a 'genocide' in Donbas—another lie. Russian troops had been fighting there since 2014. Even Prigozhin admitted it. The genocide claim was pure fiction.
