The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to increase funding for the Ukrainian Defense Forces by UAH 412 billion ($9.9 billion) this year, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported. Of this amount, almost UAH 311 billion ($7.5 billion) is earmarked for the Ministry of Defense.
