Ukrainian troops retreated from five settlements in Zaporizhzhia after days of intense Russian artillery strikes destroyed defensive positions. Russian forces carried out over 400 artillery strikes daily in the Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole sectors, firing around 2,000 shells.
