Ireland cedes air defense radars to Ukraine

Ireland gave Ukraine 5 of its 7 air defense radars, depleting most of its own early warning capability. The Giraffe Mark IV systems detect low-flying targets at 50 km, part of $76 million in military aid from a country with minimal defense inventory.
