The Tu-22M3 is equipped with the KT-1M ejection seat. Unfortunately for its crew, a minimum speed (around 130-140 km/h) is required for safe ejection below 60 meters. In this particular case, it appears the commander may have accidentally triggered the ejection of the rest of the crew.
