The German government announced that Chancellor Friedrich Merz will welcome Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday for German-Ukrainian economic discussions and an exchange on the status of peace negotiations in Ukraine. Several European heads of state and government are also expected to attend.
