After six hours or more with tourniquet, amputation is more than certain. Removing tourniquet too fast can lead to cardiac arrest as blood returns to limb and releases deadly toxins. Ukraine doesn't have luxury of US-fought wars where wounded evacuated by helicopters. 4/
