For Kyiv alone, approximately 7 billion euros are required to restore capacity by replacing the destroyed combined heat and power (CHP) plants, according to the Energy Research Center. It is impossible to fully replace the amount of electricity and heat generated by CHPs in major cities during the inter-heating season, the center noted.
