It’s a pathological factory setting: any momentary pro-Ukraine blip is quickly corrected via reversion to norm. The underlying psychology is: big countries get to beat up smaller ones. Resistance to Putin/Xi/Trump is supposed to be futile. Resilient Ukraine must thus be belittled
