Russia usually attacks Ukraine at night. On 16 March it kept going past 9 a.m. — the Air Force used the word "atypical." Zaporizhzhia absorbed the overnight wave: a woman killed, three wounded, 16 buildings damaged. Sumy commuter trains stopped running again.
