Moscow-Chelyabinsk Train Derails After Broken Rail, Eight Carriages Affected

2/ A broken rail is reported to have caused the No. 302 Moscow—Chelyabinsk train to derail on 3 April 2026 between Putevoy and Bryandino, at the 953rd kilometre of the line. Eight carriages were derailed, causing injuries of varying severity to many of the passengers.
