Russia conducted 1,384 assaults along the Ukrainian front in the week of 20–26 April, the highest tempo in two months. The end of April saw a net loss of 116 square kilometers of ground—the first month of net territorial loss since Ukraine's August 2024 incursion into Kursk Oblast, according to ISW.
