In the 2024 academic year, 115,000 Ukrainians studied abroad — about 11.4% of all Ukrainian students. According to research by KSE Vice President Yegor Stadny for VoxUkraine, the number of Ukrainian students abroad grew by 47% in 2022/2023 alone. Most of them will not return.
