BREAKING: The US House of Representatives passed a bill on the use of frozen Russian assets for #Ukraine.
All amendments to the bill providing aid to Ukraine that would have reduced the assistance were rejected in the U.S. House of Representatives before the final vote, Voice of America reported.
The aid package for Taiwan has passed, the House is now moving onto the Ukraine aid package, and the various (incredibly stupid) ammendments.
2 amendements sur 4 ont d'ores-et-déjà été rejetés (confirmation après un premier vote oral). Ensuite, le vote sur l'aide à l'Ukraine dans son ensemble aura lieu.
Russians struck Odesa, destroying residential buildings, said Oleh Kiper, head of the regional military administration. A woman and her three-year-old child were in one of the destroyed houses and were rescued. A child was injured. Two other adults sustained minor injuries.
The Russian troops launched a missile attack on Shostka in the Sumy region. The city's infrastructure was hit, the regional military administration said. The consequences of the attack are currently being clarified.
The House of Representatives has begun voting on a $95bn package of foreign aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, in what could be a big breakthrough for Kyiv. @LaurenFedor and I will be updating @FT
