Ukraine’s military: 7 attacks repelled in Donetsk and Luhansk directions. According to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, over the past 24 hours Ukraine’s military destroyed 3 tanks, 2 armored personnel carriers, 2 artillery systems and shot down an Orlan-10 drone.
In Russia's Belgorod, a fire broke out at an oil depot, injuring two workers, according to regional authorities. Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated that the fire was caused by an air strike from two Ukrainian helicopters.

Many of the assumptions were based on Russian preparations for a large war against a determined Ukrainian defense, not a bizarrely planned regime change operation in which little was organized, and the Russian leadership assumed victory within a few days without fighting. 4/
If the West does not continue supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the material they truly need (i.e., tanks, armored vehicles, air defense systems, fighter jets, etc.), then the success Ukraine is currently experiencing might not be sustainable.
8/ Mariupol. Russian forces and separatists continue to push deeper into central Mariupol. Social media posts document the use of thermobaric weapons throughout the city. Mounting losses will prevent Russia from deploying these units for further offensive operations once the city is captured.
6/ Donets River Line. Izium has been the focal point of intense fighting over the past 48 hrs, it is unclear how long the Ukrainians will be able to hold this part of the line. The Ukrainians report that the Russians are forming strike groups to spearhead of a new offensive push.
