4) The Russian troops are poorly trained, poorly led, and have terrible morale. They clearly don't want to be fighting in Ukraine. They can't do basic things like effectively deploy their air defence systems or supply their vehicles with gas. They're hopeless.

3b) And the weapons the Ukrainians are getting limit Russian tactical options. In Afghanistan the USSR heavily relied on helicopter gunships to patrol, escort convoys, deploy Spetsnaz counter insurgency troops etc. Just like back then, Ukrainian MANPADS will prevent this.

3) The Ukrainians will be getting effectively limitless supplies of materiel from their neighbours. The weapons they're getting are extremely effective. Russian tanks/armoured vehicle losses are running at unsustainable rates.
