The Hachiko team is also finding more need every day. This is Yelena, who lives in the liberated city of Sviatohirsk (without electricity/water) and takes care of 14 dogs & 11 cats in her house—plus another 24 pets living in her former place of work, a hotel that was destroyed.

Our staff are heroes too. Here is Yaroslav. He runs the administrations and operations functions at KSE. He is on crutches because he fell another day when there was no light. The elevators are off to save electricity, and so he keeps climbing up and down the stairs 12/

none of the market in Ukraine. We even asked high ranked government officials to help. They came up short. There were no generators in Poland. Finally, we got an offer from Turkey. We said today and now a 100kw generator is en route. It will be in Kyiv in a week. 4/
Water! After the last attack, there was no water for 30-40 hours. Toilets get clogged. Today at KSE we installed bio toilets. We also put 500l tanks for flushing at each restroom. We have enough drinking water stored. 2/
