Many of us aren’t talking about that. I know I’m commenting almost exclusively on Ukraines’ successes.

Bomb shelter pets bring joy to Kharkiv families

Bomb shelters in Kharkiv in the east of Ukraine have saved countless lives, but they are grim places—and families have been underground for a month. Moments of joy are provided by the many shelter pets. Delivering @WCKitchen food today, I met Usama’s cat Max and Markiv the rat!

Akko Quartet performs at Kyiv station amid war, cameo by Chef José Andrés
Before heading to Kharkiv last night, I got to enjoy Akko Quartet performing at Kyiv central station. Our @WCKitchen friends at Ukrainian Railways have been organizing concerts at a number of stations. Despite war, the music goes on here in Ukraine. Ukrainian distrust of Russia’s promises over war’s root cause
There's no sign of this problem fading away in Kremlin. It's exactly what's fuelling this war. Ukrainians have always known it. And this is precisely why they don't really trust Russia's promises. Ukrainians know the northern neighbour wants their homeland to cease to exist.
