Azovstal is being constantly bombarded by Russia despite a large number of civilians sheltering there. Ukrainians do not trust Russian troops, fearing deportation or death. An urgent humanitarian corridor is needed from the Azovstal plant with guarantees that people will be safe.

Russia hits the city of Zaporizhya which has been serving as a safe haven for civilians fleeing Mariupol, acc to Zaporizhya regional administration. Two rockets have targeted the city's infrastructure. No casualties reported so far.
