1. The Battle for Donbas has de facto started. Ukraine needs weapons now. Despite all you’ve read in the news. 2. The war is not going to be over soon, not in a couple of months. 3. It is Russia (and friends) against everyone. You cannot sit it out on sidelines. Choose a side.
Full-scale invasion and national resilience, broadcasted live.

Avoid transparency on delivery location and sourcing during war
Transparency such as delivery location during is not a good idea during the war. We deliver to places where people think no connection exists. The same with sourcing. We buy from suppliers that don’t want Russians to know they sell to Ukraine.

Improving humanitarian accountability with end-user evaluations in Ukraine
I have an idea. How to improve accountability of humanitarian effort in Ukraine. How about we introduce something similar to “teaching” evaluations? Every end user of medical kits & vests scores its quality etc. @KyivSchool anonymizes& sends it back to the donor. Thoughts?

Kharkiv veterinary clinic saves animals and feeds people
Today I got to meet the animal saviors of Kharkiv! 🐱🐶 This is the largest veterinary clinic still operating, which also provides pet food & @WCKitchen human food to neighbors. Every day animals arrive injured—we met a dog they had saved with a head wound from a bombing. Heroes! pic.twitter.com/3pZwCAwphj

KSE raises 18M, but donors prefer medical kits over vests
KSE is sourcing helmets and vests. KSE has raised over 18M. Most of it, however, has been designated for medical kits. Donors are often very explicit and require subaccounts, audit etc – they don’t want to do anything with vests.

Ukrainian shares personal stories of Russian attacks across multiple cities
Russia tried to wipe out Chernihiv where I was born and went to school.
It flattened Irpin where my brother lived. It attacked Lviv where my parents met, brothers were born and where I went to a nursery.
Most Ukrainians have similar stories.
And I'm still one of the lucky ones. -

US supplied 25K bulletproof vests; Ukraine bought 200-300K; needs double.
The US supplied 25K bullet proof vests recently. The UA government bought 200-300K. The needs are at least twice that (yes, I am aware that the “official perceived need” on Twitter is different, but it is wrong).
